Dermal Fillers Rosharon, TX What Can Fillers Do? Dermal fillers can be used for a wide range of cosmetic procedures in the face and hands to improve your overall look. As we age, we begin losing collagen and elasticity, which ultimately leads to fine lines, wrinkles, and thinning of the face. While many already know fillers are used to reduce the appearance of wrinkles, they are also useful for creating contours on the face such as fuller, higher cheeks; defined, structured chins; and smooth, chiseled noses. The primary uses for dermal fillers include: Plumping lips Enhancing or filling in shadowed areas of the face such as the cheeks and temples Improving overall symmetry and definition of facial features Diminishing or removing under-eye shadows or wrinkles caused by the lower eyelid Filling in recessed scars Softening static lines around the mouth and nose due to loss of collagen and elasticity These fillers are designed to treat certain kinds of aging or other cosmetic issues. Depending on which one is used, they can last anywhere from 12 to 24 months. On average, treatment takes approximately 45-60 minutes. How Long Do Fillers Last? How long a filler lasts depends on which filler is used. Some fillers, such as last for approximately 12 months before a touch up is needed. Others typically lasts about 15 months, and or up to two years. Are Fillers Reversible? Yes, most dermal fillers can be reversed. Those made of hyaluronic acid (HA) can be dissolved with an injection of Hylenex®. For those who are unhappy with the volume or look of their new fillers, Hylenex® is a simple way to remedy this. Please let your doctor know if you have any allergies or are taking any medications, as Hylenex® is contraindicated in some instances due to medication interactions.   Our providers at Precision Med Spa offer a complimentary 3D Facial Analysis during every consultation. By utilizing this state-of-the-art facial technology, we are able to see the true condition of your skin without any bias or personal opinions. This will allow our team to develop a comprehensive treatment plan to address all of your skin’s underlying issues, not visible to the naked eye, before they come to the surface. Once your treatment plan is completed, we can perform another facial analysis to compare before and after, so you can visualize actual results! Our facial analyzer offers a wide range of observation modes including wrinkles, pore size, texture, UV spots/sun damage, brown spots/hyperpigmentation, red areas/inflammation, and porphyrins/acne.

• Chemical Peels

  A chemical peel is a technique used to improve skin tone and texture by applying a chemical solution to the skin to remove the damaged top layers. • Microneedling

  Precision Med Spa is proud to offer microneedling with the use of SkinPen, the first FDA-cleared microneedling device in the world. The SkinPen is clinically proven to safely and effectively fight the appearance of wrinkles and acne scars, uneven skin tone, and uneven skin texture in anyone ages 22 and older. What is microneedling and how does it work? Microneedling is a procedure in which a device with tiny sterilized needles is utilized to create hundreds to thousands of micro-channels, or micro skin punctures, per second. • Spider Vein Therapy

  What is Asclera? Asclera is an FDA-approved treatment used in a non-surgical procedure called sclerotherapy. It’s administered by a trained healthcare provider in-office to treat two different types of veins; uncomplicated spider veins, and uncomplicated small reticular veins. Asclera has been a non-surgical FDA-approved treatment option for spider veins since 2010. What is the Asclera treatment like? Your provider at Precision Med Spa will inject Asclera into the vein. Then, over a period of weeks, the treated veins will collapse and become less visible. Over time, your body will naturally reabsorb the treated vein. Treatment with Asclera usually only takes 15-45 minutes, depending on the complexity of the veins. The most common side effect following Asclera injection is temporary bruising at the injection site.
